“The central vision of world history in the Bible is that all creation is one, every creature in community with every other, living in harmony and security toward the joy and well-being of every other creature…Shalom is the substance of the biblical vision of one community embracing all creation.”
–Walter Brueggemann
Shalom is a time of justice, peace, well-being and right relations. Through sharing and living a true vision of Shalom we are challenged to be engaged in building a better world for all; and this is what we hope to teach and continue to learn through this exciting new ministry at St. Luke’s.
